calibration info & part # examples
Examples for finding information and part #'s for the ignition and fuel systems on the Bullnose trucks.
Ford's Master Parts Catalog has a great deal of information regarding the various components that make up the ignition and fuel systems on the Bullnose trucks. This information is contained within the appropriate Calibration Parts List associated with the truck. However, there are about 500 parts lists for the Bullnose trucks, so you need to find the right one.
To do that go to the page called Calibration Info & Part #'s. You should open that page in another tab and follow along with the examples below.

To do that go to the page called Calibration Info & Part #'s. You should open that page in another tab and follow along with the examples below.
The first step is to find your Parts List number, and there are two ways to do that:
- CALIBRATION CODE: The best way to find the parts list number is with the "calibration code", which is on a sticker which was affixed to all the engines from 1981 onward, as explained on the page labeled How To Use The Calibration Chart, which you can find by clicking the How To Determine Calibration bookmark on the other tab. Each calibration code is directly associated with a parts list #, and you can get that via the Calibration Code To Parts Lists Cross Reference Chart, which you can get to via the bookmark called Calibration # To Parts List Cross Reference. Just go to that chart and either use the search function by clicking the spyglass icon or scroll down to find your calibration code and the associated parts list #.
- MODEL APPLICATION: By now many of the stickers are either missing or not legible, and if that is your case we will have to find another way to find the calibration code and, more importantly, its associated "parts list number". And that way is via the page entitled MODEL APPLICATION TO PARTS LIST CROSS REFERENCE CHART, which you can access by expanding the bookmark called Model Application To Parts List Cross Reference and then clicking on the bookmark associated with the year and model of your truck. Unfortunately there are usually several parts lists associated with any given pickup, so this approach isn't conclusive. But, it gets you pretty close.
Let's use as an example a 1984 2wd F150 w/a 300 six, manual transmission, and under 4000' emissions. If you go to the Application to Parts List tab and scroll down you'll find that there are four parts lists numbers that could apply to this truck: 352 - 355.
