2WD Spindles
The following tables from Ford's master parts catalog show the various spindles used on the 2wd version of these trucks. My understanding is that you look your truck up in the first table, get the parts list #, and particularly the alphabetic suffix, and then look that up in the second table. However, I've attempted to do that for you by adding the notes in blue to, hopefully, make it easier for you.
As an example, the first row of the table below shows that 1980/81 F100's which were built before 8/81 with a 4700 GVWR, power brakes, and a forged axle have a "30.1A" showing in the Parts List Section column. And, if you go to the 2nd table, which is 30.1" and look where the "A" is you'll see that spindles E0TZ 3105-D (right hand) and 3106-D (left hand) are called for. Given that I put those #'s on that row of the first table in blue, and then decoded the rest of the items in a similar fashion. Please let me know if I've erred.
