lighting Spec's & calculations
The spreadsheet below shows the bulbs used in the stock lighting systems on these trucks as well as the number required for usage and the wattage thereof. You are free to change anything on the sheet, although it will come back if you refresh your page.
The intention is for you to update the Number Of Bulbs column to match your situation and therefore determine the wattage and current used in the stock configuration. Then change the wattage of any different lighting you are changing out to determine how much difference you are making.
As an example, Phillips makes an 1157 LED bulb replacement which uses 2 watts of power. So changing the Rear Tail/Stop/Turn light's wattage from 8.3 to 2 in the New Wattage column gives a total wattage for the truck of 550.8 and an amperage of 39.3.
