body codes
The "body code" tells what kind of bed is on the truck as well as the type of seat and color of the seat material. It is made up of 3 characters, used as explained below. But, since the table for the third digit is quite small I've put it up front. So, when looking for the information regarding the first two characters, pick the table further down that matches the year of your vehicle.
The tables below are from the parts catalog and decode the first two characters of the body codes, meaning the material and type of seat and the interior color. But, I find the tables very difficult to get my head around for what code represented what color, so I put together this table to simplify things.
