Big Blue is a 1985 F250HD that I acquired in early 2017. The gentleman that had it was in the process of stockpiling parts with which to fully restore the truck, and the parts came with the truck. He'd had a lot of work done on the truck, although several things still needed to be done. And, some of it needed to be redone. You can see some of the details as well as pictures of the truck when I first got it on the As Acquired tab.
I've "transformed" the truck into an overlanding vehicle, as described on the Transformed tab.

Here are some of the details on the truck from when I got it:
- Explorer Package C with power steering, power brakes, and the trailering option, which includes the handling package with sway bars
- Engine: Rebuilt 460 with an Edelbrock Performer Plus cam & lifters, Performer intake, #1411 750 CFM carb, and Victor waterpump
- Transmission: T19
- Transfer case: BW1345
- Rear axle: 10 1/4" Sterling with the long-pinion upgrade, new 3.55:1 ring and pinion, Timken bearings, and Eaton Detroit True Trac differential
- Front axle: Dana 44HD with a new 3.55:1 ring and pinion and Eaton True Trac differential
- Steering: AGR Performance steering box & power steering pump, new tie rod ends, and a Borgeson steering shaft
- Suspension: New springs front & rear, new ball joints, and new Bilstein shocks
- Tires & Wheels: Five new Cooper Discoverer S/TMaxx – LT285/75R16 tires and wheels
