firewall to Hood ground
Hood-to-firewall ground on the 1980 - 86 Ford trucks.
This ground is apparently not available separately, but came as part of the underhood trouble light package. It measures 12" center/center on the terminals, is 1/16
thick and 3/8" wide. It ensures that the hinges don't have to carry the current of the lamp. Or, maybe better said, that there is a consistent path for the current of the lamp from the hood to the cab to the engine and thence to the battery..
