There is a fair amount of confusion regarding hood ornaments for the Bullnose trucks, and part of the confusion comes from the Master Parts Catalog itself. Our member Ralph/81-F150-Explorer has provided the following information to clear things up.

The snippet below, which is from the 1994 version of the 1980-89 MPC, says that there were two different ornaments, when there were actually three different ornaments:

• ​E0TZ-16850-A: Wreath with three lions - Black background. Similar to the Explorer ornament.
  
  
• E0TZ-16850-B: Explorer Hood Ornament: 1980-1981 USA/Canada & 1980-1984 Mexico.  (Note that the 1994 version of the 1980-89 USA & Canada MPC erroniously shows it as 1980-84.)
  
  
•  E3TZ-16850-A: Wreath with three lions - Red Background.  This hood ornament was available through the Ford parts department and could be placed on any vehicle.  However, there were other versions of this ornament, with the differences being how they mount to the hood and some minor cosmetic changes.  Back in the 70's there was D3AZ-16850-A.  And the 1982 version of the MPC lists one as E2BZ-16850-A.
