insulation

There is some confusion as to what part number E0TZ 1054310-A actually is.  The entries below in Ford's Master Parts Catalog show that it is "Insulation (Roof Panel Sound)" and is an adhesive panel that applies to the inner roof panel to dampen sound on 1980 through 1989 F-Series trucks, among others.  The problem with this is that I've personally never seen a Bullnose truck with that panel attached, and I've pulled the headliner out of several of these trucks.

However, the pictures below are from this ebay advert, which seem to show that E0TZ 1054310-A actually is a strip, maybe one that goes between the inner and outer roof panels.  The only problem with that is that there's no way to get between the two panels to insert the strip.
