Ford offered a step for the Bullnose trucks in two forms - a slide-out one and a fixed one. As can be seen in the part #'s, the slide-out step was available from 1980 and the fixed step came out in '86. I'm not sure if the earlier step was still available in '86, but it doesn't show in the 1986 Accessories catalog, although it may have still been in stock.
