The computers on the 1980 - 86 Ford trucks were the first generation of electronic engine controls, which Ford called Electronic Control Assemblies, or ECA's for short.  (The whole conglomeration of ECA, sensors, relays, valves, and harness was called Electronic Engine Control, or EEC for short.)  Here's a schematic of one, although it isn't known what year it is from:
