tape stripe codes

Ford used several different tape styles on the 1980 - 86 trucks, and most varied by the exterior paint colors of the truck.  Given that, there were many combinations.  Decode the color shown on your certification label in the "Tape" position using the chart below, and then go to the Bronco or F-Series page to determine the type of stripe you have.
